The first Swedish Symposium on Deep Learning

This symposium aims to survey the field of Deep Learning for Computer Vision and Image Analysis and increase awareness of state-of-the-art methods. We also aim at bringing together researchers from related fields where deep learning can be useful. SSDL 2017 is organized by the Swedish Society for Image Analysis (SSBA).

Dates: June 20-21, 2017 (before midsummer break)


Location: Stockholm, Royal Institute of Technology (KTH)


The symposium spans one afternoon and the following morning.  We will have four keynotes given by internationally distinguished speakers, six presentations by invited Swedish speakers, as well as academic poster sessionswhere accepted extended abstracts can be presented and discussed. There is also exhibition space where companies working in the field can showcase their work. The symposium ends with a plenary discussion where the future of deep learning is discussed.
